Pedro came to Scotland in 2002 initially to take part in a six month English Language course.

He grew to love the Country and carried on to study a Ba in Business studies at Napier University.

Thanks to the Fresh Talent scheme, Pedro stayed even longer and is now living with his wife in Edinburgh.

Having secured a post as European Sales Account Manager with E-net distribution, the largest media wholesaler in Europe, he has settled well into the Scottish Culture.

This he proved by donning the kilt to wear at the celebration of his friends weddings.

Several of Pedro's friends have already moved to Scotland lured by his enthusiastic stories of the opportunities to study and work. Living in Edinburgh means that he and his wife can take advantage of the beauty of the architecture on their doorstep.

Impressed by the transport network in Scotland, Pedro has been on many sightseeing tours. Many of his friends have visited him here and agree that he has found a perfect place to live.

The weather hasn't put a dampner on Pedro's enthusiasm. Despite the tales of bad weather he has been pleasantly surprised.

Having secured his dream job he is one happy man.

He sums it up:

"I love Scotland and I know that there are a lot of people that will feel the same as soon as they spend their first day here."
