Fresh Talent: Post Study immigration

International students now have a chance to apply for leave to enter or remain in United Kingdom for two years after their graduation.

If you want to work in Scotland under this migration route you must have graduated from a UK institution with a recognised qualification.You must apply within one year of graduating.

This gives international graduates the opportunity to work in Scotland after they have completed their studies.

The Post Study immigration category falls within Tier One of the new Points based system.

Please note that the Scottish Government does not employ agents to work on our behalf.

We advise potential applicants to make their applications either through the Home Office (in the UK) or UK Visas (overseas).
