Scottish university students who take part in any overseas exchange programme will get full tuition fee support from 2010.
At the moment, only those who take part in the Erasmus exchange programme, which covers 31 European countries, have their tuition fees paid.
Erasmus is a programme, which allows higher education students and teachers in 31 European countries to study part of their degree in another country.
