EEA nationals (people who come from the European Economic Area) have the right of free movement and residence in the UK.
EEA nationals do not need any formal permission to enter the UK and there is no time limit on their stay. Once in the UK, EEA nationals can work or set up a business and do not need to apply for permission to do so at any time.
