About Glasgow City

About Glasgow City

Glasgow is located in the west of Scotland and is the country’s largest city. With nearly 600,000 residents, it accounts for almost 12% of the country’s entire population.

Glasgow is renowned for its fantastic architecture, culture and shopping.

Over 200 arts organisations are based there and the city now offers more festivals than ever before, from high culture and visual arts to comedy and traditional music.

Perhaps less well known is the fact that only London is home to more students and just a short distance outside the city is some of Scotland’s best scenery.
