About East Dunbartonshire

About East Dunbartonshire

East Dunbartonshire has a population of around 110,000 people living in an area of approximately 77 square miles.

Known as the Gateway to the West Highland Way, East Dunbartonshire has the best of both worlds right on its doorstep. To the north are the beautiful Campsie Hills and 95 miles of pathway winding their way towards Fort William and Ben Nevis. To the south is the cosmopolitan city of Glasgow.

Residents of East Dunbartonshire enjoy a higher than average weekly wage and gain more school qualifications than the Scottish average.
